My Ex Keeps Trashing Me to the Kids! What Should I Do?

It’s the first thing you learn as a divorcing parent: “never disparage your ex in front of the kids.” But what if your ex isn’t playing by the rules? What if, in an attempt to punish you, they launch a campaign to undermine your relationship with your child through repeated lies and denigration?

If your child has been the conduit of nasty, distorted accusations from your ex, you know that helpless feeling: “I want to respond, but I don’t know how to do it without making things worse.”

It is vitally important to your child’s mental health that you deal quickly and directly with the problem of a trash-talking ex. This article explains why, and gives you the practical and concrete tools you need to do so with compassion and integrity– and without putting your kids in the middle! Check it out here:

If this is happening, you must not avoid it or think it will get better. It is called “parental alienation” and if ignored, it can (and probably will) completely destroy your relationship with your child. You must IMMEDIATELY learn how to handle this properly!

My husband has trashed me to my children and to his family.
I would hope my children would see the truth and know he is lying.
